WMS Services

A new section called “OGC Services” is now available to users of Spatial Infrastructure Data of Andalusia which provides a catalogue of all the interoperable services offered by the different nodes that constitute IDEAndalucía. The aim is to facilitate access to spatial data produced by the Junta de Andalucía by way of fulfilling the standards developed by the Open Geospatial Consortium; these will allow interoperability between IDEAndalucía’s map services and the remainder of the network’s existing WMS services.
The following is a list of available WMS services classified in five subject groups thus aiding any searches. As new spatial data is being published new services will be included in this catalogue.

Base Mapping Services ( 12 Articles )

Group of WMS Services of base-line cartography whose aim is describe and cover the whole of the Surface area of the Andalusian Territory. Also included in this category is all the historic cartography of interest for acquainting oneself with the Andalusian territory in previous years.
Orthophotos and General orthoimages Services ( 17 Articles )

This category lists the the group of Web Map Services generated for publishing satellite Orthophotographs and General Ortho-images that cover the entire Andalusian territory.
Environmental Data Services ( 51 Articles )

This category lists the group of Web Map Services of a technical nature generated by different entities of the Junta de Andalucía with the aim of obtaining and providing access to the environmental data of the Andalusian territory.
Zonal Orthophotos and orthoimages Services ( 51 Articles )

Category where all the Web Map Services generated for showing information of a zonal or local nature are listed; in this case orthophotographs or ortho-images generated during the elaboration of various projects.
Thematic Web Maps Services ( 6 Articles )
this category are the Web Map Service with a thematic component such as highways, wilderness guides, maps, physiographic maps, etc..
Local Corporations Services ( 8 Articles )

Web Map Services list where all those services published by the combined local corporations of Andalusia (County Boroughs, Town Halls, etc.)will be included, with spatial information of their municipalities.
