The Toponymic Inventory of Settlements of the Community of Andalusia (ITACA) is a project in progress that requires the participation of the town councils and provincial councils to validate the delimitation of settlements and standardise their names. To this end, a web viewer has been set up which, with the help of the most recent orthophoto and a series of tables and forms, allows the discrepancies detected between different sources to be resolved. The validated names will form part of the Geographical Nomenclature of Andalusia and the National Geographical Nomenclature, made up of the georeferenced names that must be used in official cartography.

The 250mx250m grid of building typologies prepared by the Andalusian Institute of Statistics and Cartography, from the information contained in the files of the General Directorate of Cadastre, provides detailed and updated information on the surface area of built space in Andalusia, regardless of the administrative divisions. It is a regular grid of 250m x 250m cells in which the information corresponding to the built surface area by typology in urban land from the files of the General Directorate of Cadastre for the year 2017 has been aggregated. The grid contains 17 typologies: 011 Collective dwellings. Urban (250mx250m) 012 Single-family dwellings. Urban (250mx250m) 013 Rural building (250mx250m) 013 Residential garages (250mx250m) 022 Other garages and car parks (250mx250m) 02 Industrial (250mx250m) 03 Offices (250mx250m) 04 Retail (250mx250m) 05 Sports (250mx250m) 05P Swimming pools (250mx250m) 06 Entertainment (250mx250m) 07 Hospitality and Leisure (250mx250m) 08 Health, welfare and charitable (250mx250m) 09 Cultural (250mx250m) 093 Religious (250mx250m) 10 Singular (250mx250m) 1034 Golf courses (250mx250m) For each category, information is obtained on the built surface area, as well as the percentage that the typology represents of the total built surface area.

The Territorial Delimitations drawn up by the Andalusian Institute of Statistics and Cartography and the General Directorate of Local Administration of the Ministry of the Presidency, Local Administration and Democratic Memory they make the most recent information on municipal boundary lines available to the public. Currently there are 4561 landmarks available with precise coordinates of both the marking points and the landmarks located in the field. The coordinates of the landmarks come in 95% of the cases from recent field work carried out with GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) techniques and only a small percentage of having used the PNOA orthophotography or cadastral cartography as a reference. The geometry of the sections between milestone and milestone comes from digitization on PNOA orthophotography or cadastral cartography.

The Andalusian Unified Digital Street Map, hereinafter CDAU, is the official digital street map of the Junta de Andalucía, generated from the fusion of the different sources of information on street maps, both geographical and alphanumeric, existing in the autonomous community (Cartociudad, GESTA, street maps of local entities, etc.). CDAU constitutes an official database, with a GIS topological structure, which includes information on the road network and the gatekeeper of all the municipalities of Andalusia, thus allowing the geographical location of all the officially registered addresses in the autonomous community with a portal-level approach. The Digital Street Map of Andalusia also includes information of a census nature (census sections) and postal information (postal codes, not districts as it says now), as well as information on the territorial structure of the community (municipalities and population centers). The Andalusian Digital Street Map data model includes the following phenomena or geographic entities: - road: alphanumeric table with the urban roads (streets, avenues, squares, etc.) and interurban roads (motorways, highways, roads, etc.) of the digital street map. The layer of roads is generated from the fusion of the different available sources, that is: alphanumeric street map of the IECA (GESTA), street map of Cartociudad, street map of Cadastre, version of the Digital Street Map of Andalusia before the unification of sources (CDA ) and street maps of local entities (deputations and town councils). - portalpk: portals, kilometric and scattered points of the digital street map, understanding by disseminated those addresses that do not obey the usual addressing pattern (street + portal) and that are defined by the name by which a place is popularly known (eg Cortijo Santa Maria). Like the layer of roads, the portals have been generated from the fusion of the different available sources, that is: alphanumeric street map of the IECA (GESTA), street map of Cartociudad, street map of Cadastre, portals of the 2011 Census and street maps of local entities (diputations and town councils) as well as the maintenance of the platform itself. Finally, the Andalusian Geographic Gazetteer (NGA) and the NomGeo database of toponyms have been used as the source of the disseminated portals. - section: geometry through which the roads run. This polyline-type geometry is divided into different stretches or sections according to a set of established routing rules (for example, when two roads cross). The information sources of the track sections are similar to those described in the track entity. - Nucleus: population centers or settlements of the digital street map. The layer of cores is obtained from the IECA Population Project, generating the polygonation for the entire Andalusian territory, with each polygon having the INE core code corresponding to the Gazetteer. Each portal inherits the ine code from Nomenclator. - grouping: set or grouping of buildings that are not officially considered as nuclei (eg housing estates, industrial estates, etc.). This layer comes from IECA's MTA10, is maintained by its competent body and is regularly updated in the CDAU maintenance application. - municipality: municipalities of Andalusia. The layer of municipalities comes from the IECA Territorial Delimitations project. It is kept up to date by the Cartographic Production Service (IECA) and is updated once a year at CDAU. - postal_code: Andalusian postal codes. The postal code layer comes from the Cartociudad street map, is maintained by this body together with the Post Office, and is regularly updated in the CDAU maintenance system. The postal code layer has been generated from the Correos WMS service distributed by the IDEE. Addresses and Postal Codes. Denomination of the addresses from the Cartociudad project based on official data from the IGN, the General Directorate of Cadastre, the Correos Group and the National Institute of Statistics and in collaboration with the autonomous communities of the Basque Country, the Foral Community of Navarra, the Valencian Community , La Rioja and the Balearic Islands. The denominations are in accordance with the Inspire Directive 2007/2/EC as well as their style. They also have an associated display style defined by the IGN. WMS 1.3.0 Viewing Service conforming to the Inspire Profile of ISO 19128:2005. Access and exploitation of this service is allowed in any case provided that the authorship and property are mentioned in the following way: «CC BY 4.0 www.scne.es/productos.html#CartoCiudad» - seccion_censal: census sections of Andalusia. The census sections layer is maintained by the IECA in collaboration with the INE, periodically updating it in the CDAU maintenance system. Each portal inherits the census section.
