Índice de humedad medio anual en Andalucía: 1971-2000
Capa de información geográfica en formato ráster que representa el índice de humedad en Andalucía en el periodo 1971 - 2000. El índice de humedad es un indicador climático que pone en relación las variables precipitación y evapotranspiración potencial, en este caso obtenida por el método de Thornthwaite. Este indicador permite establecer una referencia a partir de la cual valorar los procesos de desertificación.

El índice de humedad consiste en un cociente entre los valores de precipitación y evapotranspiración potencial. Frente a otros contenidos en los que la evapotranspiración se obtenía localmente por observatorio meteorológico, en este caso, se ha utilizado una capa de evapotranspiración potencial obtenida directamente a partir de la capa ráster de temperatura media.
